The campaign is a smart and varied action spectacle that keeps you on your toes as it explores paranoid thriller tropes set against global events in VIKINGTOTO the 1990s. Meanwhile, the multiplayer’s new omni-movement makes matches feel fast and fluid. A load of inventive new maps that let you explore the space in a variety of ways, and revisions to the perks system helps you specialize to fit your preferred playstyle. Call of Duty has earned its reputation for a reason, and this latest release shows why. The triumphant return of a legacy CRPG series is also one of the best games of 2023.
The initial response to Valorant was that it’s basically a mashup where Overwatch meets Counter-Strike–and yeah, that’s pretty accurate. That’s also a good thing, because Valorant draws on many of the strengths of those games to make something unique. It focuses on the round-based demolition-style game mode with two teams of five (attackers and defenders) on balanced maps with specific lanes and sightlines and an extremely fast time-to-kill. However, each agent (or character) has their own unique abilities that add another strategic layer to combat. Team composition plays a major role, and each agent affects what the team is capable of in each high-stakes situation.
The game will take us to areas affected by a volcanic eruption, where we will rescue the surviving people, while finding many secrets. There are also several ambitious AA games on the horizon and a highly awaited RTS. The day has finally come when we can enjoy the release of Stalker 2.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is back for a third time on a new console and proves that the right blend of puzzles and level design can make a game stand the test of time even 15 years after its initial release. I played World of Warcraft for years, and now that I think about it, I didn’t really enjoy any of it. I’ve been playing Minecraft in alpha or beta for over two years, and every piece of the game that’s clicked into place has utterly reinvented it. I’ve hardly ever played with minecarts and tracks and switches and pressure plates.

It knows you’re playing a roleplaying game and uses that awareness to mess with you at every turn, remembering your saving habits, following your story decisions, and constantly adjusting itself in surprising ways to remind you that actions have unexpected consequences. For one reason or another, these games made us wish we’d never played them. Even if there’s a good idea or two in there somewhere, they’re buried under so many bad ones and poor execution we simply can’t recommend you waste your time on it.
It’s beautiful, expansive, and full of delightful secrets to discover that can keep you playing for dozens of hours. The kingdom of Hallownest is a brutal one, and Hollow Knight doesn’t ease you into it. That may have caused a lot of people to bounce off of it initially – but when it finally gets its hooks in you it’s irresistibly hard to put down. This reinvention of the classic series is truly fantastic, all the way from its excellent and challenging combat to the incredibly touching story that weaves it together. It’s gorgeously presented and thorough in its detail, taking advantage of its roots while innovating on them in a way that feels fresh again.
